His whimsical works capture these ancient monsters and spirits in Japanese folklores and bring them in the light of today, persevering the traditions of Ukiyo-e with his skilful techniques while adding his signature personal flares to his characters. The monsters under Ganji’s brush all have distinctive personalities and features, allowing the audience to form a closer connection with the monsters and their out of this world stories.

Born 1978 in Japan. Ganji has worked with various sport brands to borrow his artistic talents, including Adidas, Capita, New Balance and the renowned Japanese streetwear and sneaker boutique Atoms.
