Elaine Chiu depicts the urban lives and environments in Hong Kong through watercolor cityscapes. With the fluidic and transparent qualities of the medium, she captures the transience of the light and shadow in Hong Kong's unique street views.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Chiu received a BA in Art History from the University of Hong Kong in 2018. Chiu is the invited artist of Vivid Sydney in Sydney, 2018; UNESCO's GeoPark project in Hong Kong, 2020. Her work has been selected to Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI); International Watercolour Society (IWS); and Japan International Watercolour Institute (JIWI). Notable commissioners include the HKSAR Government, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (New York).

 

趙綺婷是一位城市畫家，她以水彩為媒介描繪出香港的城市風景線。她以畫作及寫生，探討城貌、環境與城市身分的關係。她的畫作渲染出城市的演變，在市區急劇重建下，不斷重置變換的城貌與城市身分，記載香港多變、脆弱、轉瞬即逝的城市面貌。 Elaine 水彩畫筆下的香港光影交錯，勾勒出城市林立的建築群於不同時分的模樣，為消失中的舊樓房留下倩影。

趙綺婷是在香港土生土長的藝術家。二零一八年，她獲得香港大學文學院藝術史系（榮譽）學士學位。 同年，她成為繽紛悉尼燈光音樂節的受邀藝術家之一。二零二零年，她受聯合國委託，為香港地質公園項目繪畫香港古村。她的作品被英國皇家水彩畫家協會、香港國際水彩畫協會和日本國際水彩畫會所認可。趙綺婷亦曾為香港政府、香港經濟貿易辦事處及多個世界知名的品牌作委約創作。
