In 2025, Ginza Tsutaya Books hosted the inaugural group exhibition, Versions. This exhibition marks its second edition, VERSIONS Vol.2.

In reggae music, there is a tradition of creating a “version”—an instrumental track made by removing the original vocals from a popular song. Other artists then reinterpret the track by adding their own lyrics and melodies, creating entirely new expressions from the same musical foundation.

Similarly, each artwork can be seen as a unique perspective through which an artist interprets the world—a different “version” of reality. This exhibition brings together works by sixteen artists, featuring paintings, abstract works, figurative works, and sculptures. We hope visitors will enjoy the diverse range of artistic expressions presented by each participating artist.
