He was born into a family of designers - his father an architect and his grandfather a ship carpenter - and grew up in a rare environment where he was exposed to design drawings and carpentry tools on a daily basis.As a child, he developed his sensitivity by visiting museums and temples with his father and older brother.
As a junior high school student, he immersed himself in graffiti art, skateboarding and other cultural pursuits.At the age of 16, he left his home in Toyama Prefecture and started living in Osaka.To deepen his knowledge of design and art, he entered a design college.
After graduation, he chose to become a furniture craftsman and experienced furniture production at a furniture production company in Hida Takayama.He honed his skills at a factory deep in the mountains, which boasts traditional techniques and high quality.
Outside of work, he had the opportunity to feel the blessings of nature with his whole body through living and playing in nature, which was a major factor in developing his senses and has become the foundation of his own expression.In search of further technical mastery and a freer method of expression, he also tried his hand at production activities abroad.
Through he experience of living in foreign countries, he has sensitively experienced the difficulties of everyday life in the midst of a whirlwind of emotions, and the joys and sorrows of fleeting moments, while confronting his true humanity and working on his artwork.
