Linmay started drawing his own since he was little.Linmay was been painting landscape with oil painting since he was about 13 years old.

After that Linmay studied oil painting professionally at TAMA ART UNIVERSITY in Tokyo, and he started to try abstract works by acrylic. Linmay went to graduate corse at TAMA ART UNIVERSITY and he held his first solo exhibition in 1981. And 1983 - 1987, Linmay worked as an assistant to TAMA ART UNIVERSITY Oil Painting Laboratory.

Linmay is a member of Japan Artist Association,NGO in official with UNESCO, and International Association of Art. He is pursuing the depth of color space, beautiful texture, flat structure and landscape of the paintings.

The minimal music.Ambient music he met in 1970s,brought him closer to the wold of his painting and music. Linmay is also actually collaborating with music.
