Wakumi Kanno stitches together the faint traces of unrecorded memories.

Through embroidery, Kanno creates works that mend fragments of memory—discarded packaging and labels designed for consumption, traces of daily life that have outlived their purpose, or even nameless remnants of the past.

As if giving form to memories that have lost their foundation, only the thread remains.
