Born in 1998 in Anqing, China, Yizhi WAN has lived and worked in Paris, France since 2021.
His work focuses on the notion of exile in the context of contemporary urbanization, including the new freedom of thought and social differentiation that results from it, on how he experiences, as a foreigner, the changing political environment around me and how it affects him. The aim is to use the implicit power of images and acts to discuss in depth the personal status of exile and the relationship between individuals and the community.
