Noise is a term commonly used to describe unpleasant, disruptive, or harsh sounds that disturb our auditory environment. The perception of noise is highly individualistic, varying significantly based on each person's unique background, experiences, and preferences.
Shoko Mihira’s solo exhibition examines and celebrates these diverse interpretations of noise, acknowledging that different individuals can arrive at varying yet equally valid conclusions. This concept served as the primary inspiration for this body of work.
