Look through the window of my eyes and tell me what you see. A whimsical scenery born from a figment of my imagination or the depths of my soul where unfathomable secrets lie?
JPS Gallery is pleased to announce Through My Window, a group exhibition at our Tokyo gallery space featuring works by influential emerging artists who have been making waves in the contemporary art scene. Dustin Brown, Edmond Li Bellefroid, Jackie Lam a.k.a. 009, Kazy Chan, Luca Bjørnsten, Minyoung Kim, Motonori Uwasu, Okokume, Peep, Qin Tan and Ticko Liu were invited to showcase a series of sceneries through their lens. Whether it be a picturesque view of the cityscape they call home or a whimsical spectacle they yearn for, the sceneries presented by each artist reflect a deeply personal or unknown story aching to be told.
Part 2 of the exhibition will feature works by newly joined artists Gianluca Crudele, Kean, and Timm Blandin as well as new works by the returning artists Jackie Lam a.k.a. 009, Luca Bjørnsten, Motonori Uwasu, Okokume, Peep, Qin Tan and Ticko Liu.
